We were proud to work for and on behalf of LBN Medical to install a refurbished Aquilion RXL into a new veterinary practice called MyVet. MyVet are based in Lucan on the outskirts of Dublin in the Republic of Ireland. The owner wishes to become a veterinary imaging referral centre and has built a great new purpose-built facility.
On Behalf of LBN Medical, we worked closely with the practice and their appointed build contractor, to work through the pre-installation requirements, to ensure that the facility was ready for delivery and installation of the new system as per programme. We invested a great deal of time and effort to ensure the careful planning throughout the difficult period of Covid-19.
We then attended a pre-delivery site inspection survey to ensure that the room was fully prepared for delivery and installation.
We delivered, installed, and commissioned the scanner in just three days by working extremely hard and because of our extensive knowledge of the system. We used the official transport tools to complete the delivery and protected all surfaces diligently.
We then recommended a clinical applications trainer to setup all the relevant protocols and to follow the install with initial clinical applications training.
We worked with the practice to recommend a PACS solutions which was implemented after our installation was complete. Once in place, we were able to remotely setup the scanner to PACS connectivity, to ensure that the client good move quickly in starting his clinical service.
This was a super project to be part of and one that we enjoyed very much.
